Employee attrition is due to many of reasons employees leave from the workforce of the organization. Some reasons are it might be employee retirement, might be voluntary or involuntary, might be internal reasons and demographic etc. when attrition rate is high of an organization it become a course of concern. Because it directly effects on the organizational culture as well as the organizational leaderships.




     There are 4 factors effecting's to employee attrition 

        

Are there any advantages of attrition to an organization? Attrition is always not bad to the organization. Due to following reasons it may good for business turnover.

·         Reducing poor performing employees and it helps to open door to new talents. It benefitted for organization. 

·         Attrition can be enabled organization diversity.

·         It helps to create a dynamic work force.

How to mitigate attrition

Hire the right people- This is the best way to reduce attrition rate if the HR can hire right people in right time employees are not going to leave from the work force. If define job role clearly in the beginning that candidate fit not only for the job but also the organizational culture.

Fire people if don’t fit- if employees not fit for the particular role HR should identify and fired.

Keep compensation and benefits currently- organization should offer competitive pay package compared to the other organizations.

Encourage generosity and gratitude- encourage pro-social behaviors in your employees.

Recognize and reward employees- show your employees that they are most value to the organization and appreciate them.

Make opportunities for developments and growth- conducting training programs like out bound training, personal development training, product training, manufacturing process trainings gives opportunities to growth themselves.




Conclusion

There might be pros and cons in employee attrition. As a leading organization HRM responsibility is mitigate the employee attrition low attrition rate means the organization is great place to work.

In an organization people are playing vital role. So, the people who work in that organization are asset to the organization. Human Resources Management practices the recruitment, recruitment, placement, and management of employees in an organization.

 Employee and employer relationship are depending on human resource management. To complete the mission statement of the organization and maintain organizational culture human resource management gives unmeasurable support. HRM is mainly responsible for hiring and recruiting skillful personal to the organization to achieve organizational goals. Not only that but also have to conducting interpersonal skilled development programs, outbound training program to develop skills and sharpen skills of recruited employees. Well trained, well developed, skillful employees lift the organization beyond the expected level.

Due to many of reasons employees may demotivate while they are working in the organization. One main pillar of human resource management is employee motivation. There are many ways to motivate employees. Awards, rewards, appreciations, increments, promotions are some of motivation factors. First, they have to identify the reason for demotivating and according to that the HR should approach the employees to be motivated. If the employees are happy to work the process will be easy to manage and that’s how the organization become the Great Place to Work.
